What gives?

I want to like this app.
But I also want it to actually work, and that has to come first.
Running 3rd Generation (Sept 2009) 8gb iPod Touch.
App opens, shows what Im assuming is the load screen, although there is now load bar, wheel etc..
The App shows this screen for roughly 5 seconds or so, no amount of tapping, or not tapping will advance it, and then the app exits to the main iPod screen.

So really... what gives?

I want to use it, so if Im doing something wrong, please, let me know.
Ive redownloaded, resinstalled it, and restarted the iPod.
Still nothing.

Oh and I have not Jailbroken my iPod
