101 Classic Novels App Reviews

Love how there r so many books offered. However, Ive encountered typos in some books...& since there are no page #s, its hard to tell at times whether there r some sections/pages/chapters missing from the books.

I really love this app. But I read Alice in Wonderland for the first time, and I really cant help but feel as if some of the book is missing?

Works great on my new iPod. Crashed only the first time I opened it and takes only a few seconds to load a page. I think it would be great if the app automaticly opened to the last page of the most recent book you read, to save time from scrolling down the long list to find it. Or, a button somewhere could be added to do the same thing. Anyway, for a free 101 book app, its definitely the best of its kind.

I just love this app! The 3D page turning is like readind a real book, with the convienience of carrying over 100. If I could rat it higher I would. The only complaint I had was the first chapter of Call of the wild was missing.

Overall this is a good app but some chapters and sections are missing from some of the books. Maybe this is because I downloaded the free version? Would rate 5 stars if this was fixed.

I dont know why I spent money buying that book app that was featured in the iPhone commercial. That app cost about 3 bucks (or something like that) and has only about 10 books. This app is FREE and has over a hundred!!!! The page-turning is seamless and the interface is beautiful. Like the paid apps out there, you can customize almost everything in how you want to read your books. Its also easy to navigate between chapters and titles. This is the only book app I need, and Im so glad its free that Id probably hug its makers to show my gratitude. Bottom line: GET THIS APP!!!

I havent really tried this app yet however I cant help but wish that they had a synopsis for each of the books (like the back of books do) so I know what to expect from the story, and so many look good but I cant choose which one to start with, not that i can read with out knowing what it is I am reading (and thats a lot of work to look up each one Im interested in to see a synopsis)

Nice app but the pages are frustratingly hard to turn. Also, there needs to be a seperate place to store the books that are currently being read. Its very frustrating to have to scroll through the entire library every time you want to find the book you were last reading. Every other app like this has this feature. Please update.

Got my first I-touch a couple of months ago. Would never have believed that I could put a library on it for so cheap. Easy to read and use. Great!

You should get it! Its so amazing that its ridiculous. All the stories are awesome.

Good apps with only one bug so far, The Call of the Wild is missing or having problems displaying the content for chapter one, other chapters can be read. Re-installed multiple times with same issue. Great book selection.

Will you please make a step-by-step tutorial on how you made this app by demonstrating with one book? That would be Awesome! Thank you for taking my request under your consideration. Sinserely, Shay

The following novels are missing chapters: •Little Women-Chapters 10, 16, 22

I much prefer this format to the scrolling books. I love to be able to turn my own pages. Nice looking and simple to use. Excellent selection of classics! *****review revision***** several missing chapters in Little Women!!!!! What is up with that? Are you gonna fix the missing chapter issues?

The first book I wanted to read was the last in the list. Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf. Guess what? It crashed the app. Also Little Women is missing some chapters, and there is an issue with Call of the Wild. I would say a bug fix is in order.

Its a great app for when your reading a book in school and you need to search for something specificly. But its annoying scrolling through all the books, a holding tank and a better way of organization for the books (alphabetically?) would make this a 5 star app

Nice to carry novels so compactly. My only quibble is that you always have to scrolll to find your book each time. It would be great if you could go right to where you left off as soon as you open it.

This really needs the multitasking update!
