101 Classic Novels App Reviews

Tried to read Ulysses but it was blank, no words on the page.

I used to be able to listen to my music while I used this app, but now I cannot. Otherwise great app.

This is a decent app, definitely worth the price for 101 novels. However, in various parts of different books chapters are missing. Ive looked at other peoples comments and its pretty obvious that its a tad messy... Im using this app as an SAT study tool, so I really need something reliable. Some suggestions: 1. Frankenstein is missing the very last chapter of Walton, in continuation... 2. Its annoying scrolling through the whole library to find a book. Can there be a way to access recently opened novels easier? 3. Id love to listen to music while using this app. But I cant. 4. Fix these random missing parts of novels!!! I dont know where they are, but many of them have been pointed out. Prove you care about your customers!!! Thanks! Fix it up and itll be five stars! Great price, great app, needs polishing!

Thanks to this app, I was able to read a bunch of classics that Ive always wanted to read but couldnt because the books are so heavy (and I read mostly during my commute.) Being able to read 700+ pg. books without getting a hernia made getting this iPod Touch worthwhile. :) The selection of books is great and the settings are perfect - the combination of sepia background with a dark font and that spotlight in the middle is just great (I try to match this setting in all my book reading apps now.) The ebooks load well...not instantaneously but not slow either. The only thing I can say against this app is that its a drain in the battery. If I read for several hours I have to recharge again.

Great app but it needs page numbers and a simpler user interface. Also it would be nice if you didnt have to scroll through a big long list. Categories maybe?

I would give it a five but Ive noticed theres some books that have chapters missing, like in Little Women theres no chapter 23. Its kind of annoying when you get all into a book and then you turn the page to see what happens next........and then its blank. Fix it please!!! Other than that, great app for the classics fans out there. 

Why in the world would you make a book app that keeps running in the background, even after the phone has gone to sleep and the screen is dark? I went to sleep last night while reading on this app, with 80%+ battery. I woke up this morning no thanks to my completely drained phone! Never leave this app running!!!

Great app but need to update the books

Mrs. Dalloway simply will not open to read. This was a huge disappointment for me. This app totally needs updating. However, great app for reading on the go.

Cannot leave and come back to the app without re-scrolling to the book you were reading each time you come hack to the app. Definitely needs to be updated for multitasking!

Just purchased, & app wont open. Just stays black. Was looking forward to reading, now Im deleting!!

Ive had this app with my iPhones 3GS, 4S, and 6 and its worked for all except for the 6!!! Fix please!

I loved this app for my iPhone 4, but when I upgraded to the 6 this app doesn’t work! Just a blank screen

This was a great app. But it went blank. When I open the app, the screen is black. None of my other apps do this.

I just bought this app, and could not open at all, when I open this it only shows black screen. Dont waste money.
